In Honor of the brave seven...
As some of you know, my father works on the Space Shuttle team. Although we have no idea what these families must be going through, we grieve with them in this time of loss.

May God's endless love surround them in this time of great emotional stress. May God be with all of the Space Shuttle workers who face these next difficult days.

My dad and I have written a song that I hope you will listen to. The information is below.

Joe's dad (Jerry Rucker) wrote a song for the first Space Shuttle mission called "Blastoff Columbia" in 1980. The song was used as a wake up call to Robert Crippin and John Young on their first morning in space. In 1981, Jerry wrote another song called "America Look Up" about the space program. Both songs got a lot of attention and airplay around the world with letters coming from President Reagan and then Vice-President George Bush.The B side, "Don't Ask Me Why" received airplay on gospel stations around the country.
